Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. An artist since childhood, I have been fascinated by color, faces and natural forms. Taking every class in art I could find, I enjoyed oil painting in particular, and portraiture became my passion. Painting from life, or photographs if necessary, I love to bring out the personality of a someone "from heart to art." Painting outdoors in nature is exhilarating, a real joy and renewal of the soul.
